Sharp To Launch Their 3DTV's In The SummerEvery day we seem to be getting more and more news from the different TV manufacturers about their 3DTV launches with Sharp being the latest to announce their 3DTV releases.

Sharp have announced they are set to release their 3DTV’s in Japan this summer with releases in China, Europe and the USA in time for Christmas.

Sharp are the 4th biggest TV manufacturer behind Sony, LG and Samsung so we knew it wouldn’t be long before they announced their new 3DTV’s. Panasonic and Samsung already have their 3DTV’s on the market with Sony releasing later in the summer.

Early research seems to indicate that there is a demand for 3D technology and with Sky announcing their 3D channel this would seem to point to the popularity of the technology, however the future of 3D would really seem to depend on the number of programmes available in 3D otherwise it is a very expensive toy for watching a very poor selection of programmes.
