With 3DTv’s being the latest craze at the moment it is about time that an announcement was actually made on some blue-rays so that you can actually watch something on your 3DTV since TV programmes are going to be in short supply with only Sky announcing a 3DTV service at the moment with full details not yyet released.

The first Sony 3D blu-ray to get released with be Cloudy With A chance Of Meatballs and it will be available in Germany first. There will also be a 2D version of the film which will be 9 Euros cheaper than the 3D version which is going to make the 3D version a very expensive movie.

The release date for Cloudy With A chance Of Meatballs is set for June the 1st with the UK release date yet to be confirmed.
