Panasonic announced soon after their 3DTV launch in the US that the company had sold out of it’s full allocation and this has prompted the TV manufacturers to increase production by 30%.

3DTV’s are still a very new technology and even though there is a not much content available for them yet the full allocation of Panasonic 3DTv’s have sold out in the US in one week.
The debate over whether 3D will become a popular technology is far from over but the initial signs in the US market appear to be good even with the sets priced at $2899 selling out quickly.
